vegetation alpha to coverage

Post by Rimshot »

Hi Prepr3D team,

Thanks for the update to v3.2. I'm considering a client update instead of a full reinstall. However I noticed in the release notes that in the Prepar3D Scenery component you guys have improved 'vegetation alpha to coverage'. What am I missing if I do not update the scenery component?

First link on the Google search - that wasn't so difficult, was it?

Tree textures were updated to help with artifacts such as dark outlines appearing at a distance.

The question remains: What is he missing if he is not updating the scenery component?

He is liable to get artifacts such as dark outlines appearing at a distance using old tree textures.
