Serious problem with Aerosoft A 320
Hello,
I have a problem with v3 Prepar3D. A few days ago my new PC arrived and I immediately installed Prepar3D. I was in front Fsx user and was told, that I could get higher framerates with this new simulator. Anyway, yesterday I obtained the Aerosoft A 320 Boxed. I installed it, updated to version 1.31, otherwise not compatible with Prepar3D v3, and everything went well so far. Unfortunately, I discovered that certain items could not be served, or things like the "Panel State" were greyed out in the right MCDU. After looking for a solution, the following has been found: I had to install under "PrePare3D / Redist / Interface / FSX SP2 X-PACK / retail / lib use" the windows installer "Sim Connect". I did it and everything seemed okay. Now to my problem: Since this action my P3D is regulary crashing every time I load a new flight with the Aerosoft Airbus.
Most time I receive the message "Prepar§D exxe has stopped working".
If I start with another aircraft, I have absolutely no problems. My PC also isn´t that bad (GTX 1080, 6700K, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Sim installed on a Samsung Evo SSD). Could someone help me with that? Thanks a lo in advance,
Philipp
Here´s my Windows Event Log (unfortunately in German):

You mentioned that you do not have any problems with other aircraft. So it looks like a specific problem with the Aerosoft Airbus. I suppose you will get more help when you describe your problem in their support forum.

You won´t believe it, but I described them this issue long time before I came to this Forum.
And the people there affirm that the problem lies not with their Add on.
So, tell me what shall I do?
Nevertheless many thanks for an answer, I really appreciate it.

Then it may be an incompatibility with other addons you are using. What I would do in this case is to disable all addons and use the Aerosoft Airbus only. If there is no issue, enable one other addon and test again. Then enable the next addon and test. And so on. You might be able to isolate your problem this way. I know it's a pain in the ... but it may be the only way to find out what exactly is the cause for this issue.

Thanks a lot for the reply!
The problem is that I have not installed any other Add-ons yet.
I also reinstalled my Windows and P3D. It's hopeless...

Re: Serious problem with Aerosoft A 320
Maybe somebody else here has the Aerosoft Airbus and has an idea what could be wrong, but when P3D runs fine without any addons and crashes with only the Airbus installed, there is most certainly something wrong with the Airbus. Are you sure that nobody else at the Aerosoft forums reported this issue?
I suppose your Windows is fully up to date? Have you perhaps tried different graphics drivers? Do you have any flight sim hardware (yoke, throttle ...) and are using their current drivers? Are you overclocking your CPU (if so, have you tried without OC)?
Other than that, I'm afraid I don't have any other ideas what could cause your issue.

Thanks for your efforts.
Windows latest updates installed, all drivers are fine.
I am not sure, but I think something is wrong with My DirectX cause of the message "wrong module: d3d.ll"
I'll inform you when I have found a solution.

Re: Serious problem with Aerosoft A 320
I had the same problem today with freshly installed P3D and Aerosoft Airbus. I found solution in Aerosoft forum. You just copy d3d11.dll from C:\Windows\SysWOW64 to prepar3d installation folder and everything is working as it should.
Re: Serious problem with Aerosoft A 320
Does this A320 box work with P3D v3 too?
In the spec. on Aerosoft it stands v2!
thanks
Walter
