[RESOLVED] Strange Startup Screen Problem
[RESOLVED] Strange Startup Screen Problem
Hi,
I have a really strange problem that, after selecting an aircraft from vehicle selection of Prepar3D v5.2, something goes wrong with the sim. I did not find any solution for that.
I did lots of thing to fix it.
My drivers are updated.
System:
i9-10900k @5.1gHz oc
Rtx3090
SS:
1) Before selecting aircraft, everything seems normal

2)After selection

Re: Strange Startup Screen Problem
@ pltfurkan ,
Your P3D start up screen is not normal e.g., missing data.
Did you build your own PC or upgrade an old PC or is it a store purchased PC?
Just to verify, your P3D product and version number xxxyyy ?
Did you just install P3D for the first time today or upgrade from a previous version?
What are your full system specs?
Can you start the P3D default flight [click OK on initial screen] and do a screenshot after it loads the F35A at KRND?
A copy of your SS:

Re: Strange Startup Screen Problem
Solution came from @CBT_Phoenix :
It is working for v4.5 and v5.2. Thanks a lot CBT_Phoenix ! :)UPDATE!
I finally solved the issue! After asking help in the Microsoft Community, performing a clear start of Windows, and excluding all instances running on Windows one by one, I found the offending service:
Is the "Nahimic Service" from Nahimic.
To disable it, press Win+R, type msconfig, press enter, then go to Services, look for Nahimic service, disable it, and reboot.
Voilà, easy as that :D
Thank you everyone for the help and support provided, maybe this solution can also help the other guy with a similar issue :)
