"HMD - Recalibrate Origin" for VR using a SimVar needed
Hello, we need to remotely reset the VR View for the HMD. "HMD - Recalibrate Origin" controlled via SimVars is what we are looking for, but we cannot find it. It seems not to be connected to 2D view resetting either. There are multiple developers out there who need this, I found a few more...

Re: Varjo XR-3 Mixed Reality Portals (with images)
Hi @fheinz, I never tried to use chroma-keying and portals at the same time. I used portals only with the XR-1, I created the portals over my cockpit instruments area and that's where the Varjo video passthrough appeared. No greenscreen needed. But if you want to use chroma-keying with the green scr...

Learning Center: Pressure Altitude should be 1013.25, not 1012.2
From the Prepar3D Learning Center, Cockpit Basics: "Pressure altitude is the altitude shown on the altimeter when the pressure is set to 29.92 inches of mercury (or 1012.2 millibars). Pressure altitude is important in calculating density altitude, a critical factor in determining aircraft perfo...

Re: Varjo XR-1
Hello Beau and Rob,
thanks a lot for the XR-1 portals hotfix.
I just installed it (thanks again for the very detailed instructions) and activating the portals now works like a charm when using the XR-1. For this test I used the portal set I set up using the VIVE Pro.

Re: Varjo XR-1
Hi Joseph, can you maybe give us some info about when we can expect the support for portals using the XR-1? Will it be in Hotfix 3, and if yes when might HF3 be released? In the first step it would be fine (for us, I cannot talk for others, what about you, Mike?) if the portals would show up when us...

Re: Varjo XR-1
Hello Beau, a little progress, but again stuck: Portals save out to an XML file, so if you have a Vive, Vive Pro, or Index, you could use to create them, that might be the quickest way to create your mask using portals. You can name the portal sets and save them, using the VR settings UI. You can en...

CIGI and instruments, six pack, GPS
Hello, I would love to know if I use P3D as a CIGI client and I send over all the Ownship (Entity 0) updates for pos/rot, will the instruments still work? If I for example would use the Mooney Bravo as Ownship can I drag out the instruments values (e.g. using Air Manager, used it with other flight s...

Re: Cigi and View Control
Hi Mike, thanks for your detailed description of your CIGI setup, that's what I wanted to test next week. And I work with BlueIG & CIGI, too. :-) I now have a question you might be able to answer: If P3D is used as a CIGI client and I send over all the Ownship updates for pos/rot, will the instr...

Re: Varjo XR-1
Hello Beau,
thanks for pointers! I will first try to use the VIVE Pro to create the portals and then I'll switch to the XR-1, seems to be the most practical solution to get initial results. And later I will explore to the slightly more complicated avenues.
