Re: 5700XT + 8700k Weird Behaviour
How old is your user built PC? Are any recently upgraded components still on warranty? Oldest bit is the PSU, about 3.5 years now. GPU is a month old. Everything else has worked great up until the new GPU... so my guess is it has something to do with the performance settings, power limits or stabil...

Re: 5700XT + 8700k Weird Behaviour
Is your PC a home built PC or a store bought name brand PC? It is home built. After some more testing around it seems to be that the power limit on the graphics card settings seems to affect when the DXGI reset message occurs. If I set it too high, it goes off... but also if I leave it at 100% it w...

Re: 5700XT + 8700k Weird Behaviour
Hi, My system is as follows: 8700k overclocked to 5.0ghz, 16gb ram, Radeon 5700XT and a 3440x1440 monitor. I primarily fly the NGXu in North America, airport Addons everywhere I fly, Active Sky, ORBX, etc. The GPU is new for me and works very well in all other games I have, though in P3D I am seemi...

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
"I have a GTX 1060 6GB and have this problem constantly now." Are you overclocking? I have had an overclock on for the past couple months, stable in FurMark. I have finally been able to get it to work after a few hours and my only solution has been to under clock the card all the way down...

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
I have a GTX 1060 6GB and have this problem constantly now. I am struggling to even get a flight to work as we speak. I have changed nothing either. Starting to think its a hardware problem

Re: v3.2 Excessive lockup during flight - not always crash
I do notice it coming into heavy airports, Specifically FSDT Vancouver. But I now have been seeing this happen less, I think it is due to how ASN injects the weather, but I still am not 100% sure. I will lower the OC to 4.7 and see, but keep in mind this doesn't actually cause the sim to crash and c...

Re: Hanging points
I have a thread on this, Mike from LM is involved now. Similar spec PC and add ons as you so maybe we can figure this out together. Have you tried disabling FSUIPC autosave?

Re: v3.2 Excessive lockup during flight - not always crash
Hey Mike, my system specs are as follows: (more detailed than my signature) i7 4790k at 4.8 ghz with hyper threading ON 8gb ram GTX670 with latest drivers and overclocked P3D and all other add ons exclusively on an SSD and Windows on a separate SSD I am experiencing the problem on and off. I use FSU...

Re: v3.2 Excessive lockup during flight - not always crash
It is not autosave, I've tried different intervals and turning it off :(. it feels like its a texture/airport loading or something. i will try timing it with the ASN weather updates.. that could possibly be it.

v3.2 Excessive lockup during flight - not always crash
I fly the NGX almost exclusively, use a lot of add ons that are very popular around here, an ACARS, vPilot and ASN. When in the middle of a flight, on climb, approach... etc, P3D hangs every half hour or so for a good solid minute, sounds still going but its clearly frozen, all CPU cores are roughly...

Re: HT on VAS usage bug
noticed weird GPU behaviour too.. When running at 30fps lock, GPU would run at maximum % but would not always maintain 30fps. When running at 60fps, GPU maintains 90+% but frames in general are higher. Yes they don't stay at 40-50 on approach but they don't drop below 30. Feel like the internal lock...

HT on VAS usage bug
Just wondering when this will get sorted out. I just finished a reinstall of P3D 3.2 on a new SSD and have adjusted for best performance. My findings were that I had the best performance with 60fps (not unlimited) lock in P3D, HT ON, process lasso using all cores for P3D, AM=14 and FFT=0.01. I am ge...

noticed this too with NGX. At night, the panels are very bright and need to be manually turned down. This is with VC shadows on
