@Jorgen

Thanks I will give the AIFP updating a go... Interesting you mention that as it goes back to one on my experiments in the "elimination process". I noticed if I loaded the sim from scratch with the MAIW Add-on disabled (so it doesn't scan and load the aircraft) then once in sim turned the addon back on it did not crash with MAIW on. But if I had MAIW turned on and loaded P3d from scratch so it scans the aircraft then went into the sim that is when it crashes.. So I may look at my traffic bgls... I had the AI Owl tool go through all my AI aircraft and generate an error report everything came up relatively clean...

@Martyson

While I did turn off all my addons and put all AI sliders up to 100% no problems... What I usually do AI wise is I compile my addon AI bgls between 1 and 5% and set my AI sliders to 4% commercial and 12% GA this way I can see the default GA aircraft but it gets rid of the default made up airlines..

I always have airline and GA traffic at 100%, road traffic at 20%, ships and leisure craft at 50%, and it works fine.

Did you by chance install the new GDR East Germany packages from MAIW? I ask since they are all around Berlin....

Yes I did install the new GDR packages by Shaggy22 and it is me doing the conversion of the new DDR airports from FS9 to P3d...

I look forward to releasing it... Right now I am working on perfecting the ADEs while Gsnde is attempting to hunt down the missing objects and textures for us; once we are both satisfied we will release it.. In terms of the ADEs I am about halfway done...

So I have taken a break from doing ADE (DDR) stuff to run the AIFP Bulk Traffic recompile. While it is in progress I have gotten a couple of odd messages from some of the flight plans in my OCI folder

1. Unable to save traffic file
ExMessage: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow

2. Contains errors and may not convert/compile into readily-useable FS9 traffic file. Please refer to the consolidated report that will be output. The second one specifically came from Traffic_KPK_USArmyPriorityAirTransport(MIL)_Winter_2020-2021.bgl

Once this is done, I will run AIGAIM again to make sure all is well. But any ideas on what the deal with these messages is?

Also got a message:

Problem decompiling flight plan data.

Index was out of range. Must me non-negative and less than the size of the collection
Parameter name: startindex

@ jetpilot1980 ,

Are you still working on (this topic) Kernelbase.dll CTD error?

@Martyson

Yes this is an attempt at fixing that...

Going back to a couple of key findings:

1. The combination of MAIW Europe and Berlin is the Kernelbase trigger

2. It seems to specifically happen when I load P3d with MAIW europe turned on from scratch so P3d reads all the MAIW Europe sim objects. But if I load the sim with MAIW Europe off; then turn MAIW Europe back on once in sim; so it does not read and load the sim objects I do not get the crash.. So going back to Jorgen's suggestion of running the AIFP bulk recompile for target version (P3dv4) to see if this fixes the issue...

@ jetpilot1980 ,
Ok, I only use default AI traffic and not seeing any problem.

Does it look like a problem with P3Dv4.5HF3 or your Add-on AI traffic with user mods on your setup?

Note:
No other pilots with this problem in this topic so far.

Jetpilot1980,

The reason I do not have problems similar to yours might be because I do not use any of the AIG Installers or Traffic Management tools, but install all flight plans through AIFP only, then install all add-on sceneries and/or AI aircraft "manually". I treat AIG's OCI-ready flight plans the same way.

All pre-compiled flight plans, even those from MAIW already compiled for FSX and therefore ready for P3D, I run through AIFP to first decompile and then recompile them to ensure compatibility.

Hey Jorgen,

So first test... Not good... So after completing the AIFP Bulk recompile I reloaded the sim with MAIW Europe enabled so as to gather the sim objects. Once at the start menu I went in and disabled MAIW Europe; from there I tried to go into the sim with the plan of first testing it with MAIW disabled and re-enabling it once in sim... results

1. The sim loaded to about 86% in the progress bar... The progress bar then disappeared from the screen and reappeared showing loading 6% and reloaded from there. At about 86% on the second load I started seeing in the sim again (could see the F-22 v-cockpit and the scenery) as well as the progress bar on top of it...

2. At 100% the sim crashes this time the event viewer error is a urctbase.dll

This is a stack overflow issue, most likely in a C++ application, it looks like.

I found this thread that deals with both the urctbase.dll error and the exception code:

I looked at that... All it told me to do was install visual 2015 which I already have... I see there is a new Windows update I am going to run that and then reboot and see what happens next..
