VR Issues

With V5.1 there are no message boxes opening in VR (e.g. ATC) as it was in V5.0

Hello,

This appears to be affecting the new HTML version of these windows. We will work to have this fixed as soon as possible. You can workaround this by modifying the missionpanels.cfg in the gauges folder in your Prepar3D installation directory.

Changing these entries will revert these windows back to the Scaleform version:

[Window10]
change:
html_file = menu;
html_instance_name = MenuPrompt;
to:
scaleform_file = menuwindow;
scaleform_instance_name = MenuPrompt;

[Window11]
change:
html_file = ATC;
html_instance_name = ATC;
to:
scaleform_file = menuwindow;
scaleform_instance_name = ATC;

Another simpler workaround is to move the ATC menu to the top left of the main Prepar3D window before entering VR. Then you should see it display as expected.

Thx for this trick. I stay with v5 HT2 till the hotfix for 5.1 will be released (I need Active Sky P3D) but I have a question.
I fly VR only so this trick for text windows will be included in this hotfix for 5.1 too?

Btw.
Rob for Window 12 its good too to add the prevoius settings for VR too in 5.1. This SimConnect Window is used by many additional software (like Weather raport ect)

Now its:

[Window12]
...
html_file = Menu ; Use the generic menu window html content
html_instance_name = SimConnectWindow ; Provide a unique instance name
...

change to:

scaleform_file = MenuWindow ; Use the generic menu window scaleform content
scaleform_instance_name = SimConnectWindow ; Provide a unique instance name

Btw.2 Ok installed 5.1 and Im waiting for HT1.
How ATC looks (after few additional config), its ok now.

With 2D panels (of models) no any issue.

Pro-ATC-X is not displayed in VR!
GSX is only displayed outside the aircraft!
I ask for help!
