If you start P3D (your default aircraft the F22) and select airport EGDG,
After the flight loads at EGDG.

Can you do an IFR (low altitude e.g.) flight plan from EGDG to EGLL?

I'm packing it for today but out of interest i uninstalled true earth gb south and lo and behold in orbx global the airport reverted to St Mawgan although it still says Cornwall Newquay in 'go to airport' - The runway became 31 whereas in true earth it was 30.
I give up, although I now have something else to report to ORBX.
Thanks again for your help
Terry

Sorry, I didn't see your reply - I now know that it isn't anything to do with P3D though.

EGDG = Cornwall Airport - Newquay.
St.Mawgan does not exist. (In P3D)
Insertion point is above the standard P#D scenery and below my payware.

Thank you for that, it was puzzling that everything worked fine with ORBX global but as soon as I installed True Earth it didn't
Cheers, Terry

My previous post:
Last time I checked EGDG came up as St Mawgan AB

Newquay is now EGHQ by the way.. ....if you update your navaids via this site ..https://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html it will also update default Airport ICAO codes

I mentioned EGHQ in a previous post.

EGDG still shows as Cornwall Newquay
EGHQ shows now as Newquay.
After the aero sors update.

In P3d, Last time I checked EGDG came up as St Mawgan AB

This has nothing to do with a aero sors update, not part of the OPs originally posted problem?

I do not use aero sors.

It seems to depend on which ORBX you have .
With TE South my P3Dv4 shows EGDG as Newquay. As is EGHQ.

The aero sors reply was in answer to a post about 3 earlier.

EGDG is Newquay in real life. There is no EGHQ in real life as far as I can trace.
St. Mawgan RAF base does not exist in my P3D but does in real life but it is not operational and has no runways (they were sold to become Newquay Airport).

Is the OP's first post about Real life or aero sors?

What is your answer to the OPs original problem?

If you actually read what was posted, instead of being snarky and trying to score points, you would have seen:

Just flown from there and it looks nothing like your picture.
I would suggest a scenery error?
Check your Orbx installation - validate the files and check where you have set the insertion point.

What you are seeing is most definitely not ORBX.

The subsequent posts were in answer to developments in the posts and the fact that there was some doubt (mainly from you) about what P3D was referencing.
I was trying to clear up what actually exists, which is probably what ORBX TE is showing, and why there could be confusion?

There still seems to be no definitive answer to the original problem.
I shall not contribute anything further.
