[RESOLVED] Heading Issue

I have heading variations of 15 and even 30 degrees (from aircraft to runway). I have updated to v4.4. I have disabled the recent scenery files I had loaded but the issue continues. Gyro drift is not enabled. I have uninstalled and re-installed ORBX Global, Libraries and Trees and still no change. Is there anything else to try?

This is not about an LDA approach and its alignment with the runway. It is about the heading indicator in the aircraft and its alignment with a runway. On Rwy 31 at KLGA the aircraft shows 295 while the actual runway heading is 314. I have the same issue at other airports where the heading indicator can be up to 40 degrees less then actual rwy heading.

The default LM F22 shows 316 at KLGA rwy 31.

If you are using fsAerodata, there was a rev1 of latest cycle, that fixed an error on the magnetic variation table for Year 2019. It was released on the same day the original AIRAC was published.

I do use fsAerodata, and I updated it to rev1 following the post. Still did not solve the issue. Aircraft heading at KLGA is still showing 295 verses actual 314. Same problem at all other airports. Aircraft heading is up to 40 degrees less than actual.

True heading for RW31 is 302... so it's not mag declination.

Use the default F22 and do a screenshot of the heading when on the runway (KVPS) in the VC cockpit.

Since discussion was KLGA... why asking for KVPS?

The OP asked:
" Is there anything else to try?"

Default jet and default airport.
What is the heading?

KVPS rwy 12. And KLGA rwy 31 below. At KVPS the heading is higher than rwy heading and less at KLGA. Usually is less.

I cannot see the heading values in the screenshots

RWY 30
KVPS
H303

Current chart magnet variation is 0 (zero) 300 degrees for RWY30 (do not know for the sim just off hand)

Here is a closer image of KVPS rwy 30. For my sim, rwy 30 is showing 309. For rwy 12 at KVPS it is showing 131 (previous post).
