I have to report an important error in P3d V5.2: FailureAction does not work since P3DV5.1.
With P3DV5.03 everything worked, from P3dV5.1x not anymore.
I have hoped that it is fixed with V5.2. Unfortunately it does not work also in V5.2.
With P3DV5.03 it looked like this: (Red frame shows current selection, Blue frame the selection options):

With P3DV5.1 / V5.2 it looked like this: (Red frame shows current selection, Blue frame the selection options).

Re: FailureAction does not work since P3DV5.1.
Unfortunately, the FailureAction still doesn't work for me, even in the latest version 5.4 (5.4.9.28482).
A mission created with version 5.0 (5.0.31.35253), which works correctly with 5.0, brings the following error message in 5.4:
https://andi20.ch/p3d/failureaction/Error.jpg
im "ObjectLoadErrors.txt" steht folgendes:
Fire aus 1 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
Fire Wasser 2 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
Fire Wasser 1 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
OilLeak Wasser 2 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
OilLeak Wasser 1 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference

Cylinder 1R Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
Cylinder 4 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
Cylinder 3 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
Cylinder 2 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
Cylinder 1 Error: Missing entity ObjectReference
I can't select any failures (oil leak or other failures) in SimDirector either, the selection menu is simply empty.
Is that only for me that way? What am I doing wrong?
Or has the error existed for more than 2 years and could not be fixed?
Best regards

Re: FailureAction does not work since P3DV5.1.
Hello andi20 ,
Did you do a full P3D product install?
Can you start P3D's default flight and Arm Failures?

Re: FailureAction does not work since P3DV5.1.
With each version (5.0 to 5.4) I have always completely uninstalled the predecessor and reinstalled the current P3d.
In flight mode you can also activate any failure, but it doesn't work in SimDirector.
https://andi20.ch/p3d/failureaction/FailureFlight.jpg
Try it yourself:
Open the Simdirector, create a new flight with "New" and create a FailureAction in it.
Now try to select a system that should fail in the settings of the FailureAction (under "System").
You will see this: https://andi20.ch/p3d/failureaction/FailureAction.jpg
(Under "System" everything is empty!)
Do the same with P3dV4.5, or P3dV5.0, you will see this: https://andi20.ch/p3d/failureaction/FailureActionV5.jpg
(Under "System" an action is already selected, click on the arrow on the right to bring up the complete list of possible failures!)

The difference between Flight and SimDirector FailureAction is big:
In flight mode, an "oil leak" causes the oil to be gone within seconds and the engine to fail. There is only 100% = no leak, or 0%, big leak.
In SimDirector I can set that Oil-Leak has 2% failure (98% OK), so only very little oil flows out, the engine still works for 30 minutes or more.

Re: FailureAction does not work since P3DV5.1.
Hi andi20,
I have not used SimDirector for a L O N G time but I gave it a quick look just now.
Failures are listed (screenshot).
I am still using P3Dv5.3.17.28160 because my Add-on products are not all updated for P3Dv5.4 yet.
Just for information:

Re: FailureAction does not work since P3DV5.1.
Unusual. What am I doing wrong when uninstalling and reinstalling?
Do I still have to delete any registry entries after uninstalling?
Which file is responsible for the FailureActions? A dll or a cfg? Can I delete this separately, reinstall?
