Hi all

I need help installing the SDK in Vista (x64).

I use max 2011(x86).

Installed Prepar3D_SDK_1.4.4747.0

It is my Prepar3Dplugin.ini file :

[Directories]

Additional MAX plug-ins=C:Program Files(x86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 11\PlugIns\

AcesTools=C:Program Files(x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D SDK 1.4.4747.0\Environment Kit\ModelingSDK\3DSM11\Plug-ins

[Help]

mental ray 3.5 Reference=C:\Autodesk\3ds Max 11\help\mr_reference.chm

mental ray 3.5 Reference=C:\Autodesk\3ds Max 11\help\mr_reference.chm

I Start 3ds and add the directory for the tools via Customize, Configure System Paths, 3rd party plugins.

Close 3ds.

I Copy shortcut, change the name 3dsMax_Prepar3d and edit the Target path to :

"C:Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011\3dsmax.exe"-p"C:\Users\MAD\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsmax\2011 - 32bit\enu\Prepar3Dplugin.ini"

But,when run max from 3dsMax_Prepar3d shortcut,the 3rd party plugins (C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D SDK 1.4.4747.0\Environment Kit\Modeling SDK\3DSM2011\Plugins) is not show up.

where I'm wrong

Thanks

Slavi

I don't typically run 3dsMax with he shortcut edited like you described. Do the tools work if they are installed without editing the 3dsMax shortcut?

- without editing the 3dsMax shortcut,when I click on /ExportLOD/, I get an error:

Animation Manager - error.
