Martyson, the problem is not new. It happened since the first installation(by the way, my p3d is also HF2). After the last nvidia update I tested it again with a Maule for half an hour and it was OK. But when I tried the PMDG the issue came back.

@CaptBMckay,

In what circumstances does the error happen to you?

Have you updated both Windows 10 and your graphics drivers to the latest versions?

What add-ons do you have?

Hi guys,

I am getting the same error. I recently swicthed from 4.5 to 5 and its totaly unusable.

I have latest windows 10 update 2004, latest nVidia driver 452.06 (Gforce game ready driver) and HF2, however error appears again IN FS Labs 320 and in default aircraft on default airport.
I have just 2 scenery installed in P3DV5 since i've done complete system reboot and PC does not contain any previous files.

I am running Nvidia 1050Ti 4GB RAM I7-7700@3.6Ghz and never had issue on any version of P3D before.

Appreciate if someone can help to resolve this annoying error.

Thank you.

Does this only happen with that FSLabs 320, or also with other aircraft?

This issue has been discussed x-times before in this forum. It can be a lot, from a faulty GPU driver installation to simple overheating this device (dust clogging in your filters for the case) or that you are on the minimal GPU specification with 4GB VRAM. With v4.5 and DX11 it was enough, but 5.0 with DX12 it's maybe not possible with your settings. DX12 also uses the hardware better, means it gets hotter and therefore the heat problem looks like no 1 to investigate for me.
Check the case inlets. Sometimes they are below. Even when the filters are clean, there can be dust below if the inlet is on the floor.

Dan's splendid advice about overheating is something we should all bear in mind all the time.

I had the clogged vent issue happen to me a couple of months ago. A vacuum cleaner took care of that easily.

Especially this becomes an issue if you have a tower case sitting on or near the floor. If at all possible, get a small table a stool or whatever you can find, and raise the system off the floor as much as you can.

Kudos to Dan for bringing this one up.
