Just a correction on the above post -- yes P3D (all versions) use shaders, that is what is in the shadersHLSL (and others) folder.

And somebody said this wasn't in HF1. I have experienced this in HF1 with EA on.

I've never seen it with HF1 which doesn't mean it wasn't there. But with HF2 it is much more present.

Hopefully, the next version of P3DHF can solve this chronic illness.

I too have this exact issue at nearly every add-on airport since upgrading to HF2. The ground poly at FSDT KLAX, trees at UK2000 EGCC, FSDT KIAH, FlightBeam KIAD, to name a few...

I never saw this issue on HF1 or earlier.

And you have, of course:

1. Made sure that all of your add-on airports are v. 5 compatible, and

2. Posted questions about these issues in with all their manufacturers?

Here is a video showing the serious impact of the EA display problem on the actual flight, making HF2 a very painful problem product.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for the reports and examples of various sorting issues present using Enhanced Atmospherics. We are aware of certain cases where distance fog and object sorting with Enhance Atmospherics is incorrect. We are working to fix this in our next update.

Hello world !

Maybe the RGBA texture of DXT3 and DXT5 has raised the problem.

Hi Rob

I am also experiencing this problem in both P3d V5 HF2 and P3d V4.5 HF3. It happens with both EA on and off.

Hope this helps.

Many Thanks

Now EA is out of Beta it will be interesting to know who is responsible for this.

Do 3.Party Devs have to make changes on their end or is the bases of this issue within P3D V5.X?

We continue to pay attention to the credit issues of developers. If it cannot be resolved, why transfer responsibility?

Hi,

we have this issue as well with P3D v5.0 and 5.1. We are using our internal tool called AirportController to place ground poly, which are Simobjects.

When EA on, it's bypassing our airport.

Any clue what could be done about it?
