Hey Guys.
I want to set up my home cock pit.
i have a
i9 Intel® Core™ i9 Ten-Core Processor i9-19900k
6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 - HDMI, DP
So my main PC is good to go.
So after researching everywhere, i have gathered the following. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Main PC:
Runs Simulator: P3Dv4.5
FSUIPC 5.151 is a config utility software to connect external switches etc
WIDEFS - To communicate with other clients acting as a Host.
ProSim737 system
Second PC
WIDEFS7 - in order to connect to multiple clients.
PROSIM737 display
PROSIM737 Audio
PROSIM737 other stuff
Then obviously all the gear.
Mostly every setup I come across, have 2 PCs. Why is this? I don't mind but I am sure my main pc can have 4 screens running and if needed, I can buy an extra graphics card and run another 3 more for the MIP displays etc...
So as far as I can see, I can run my main pc to display the front screen (3 screens) and 2 wide screens for the MIP display. I can then connect all the gauges, switches, overhead via a USB hub and configure them to work using FSUIPC.
Thoughts?
New Homebuild Cockpit
Re: New Homebuild Cockpit
Hi
This is the way to do it as you mentioned. 2 PCs and only outside view on the P3D PC. No more monitors on that PC otherwise performance will drop
