Simple question: how to trigger weapons

Hi,
Simple and stupid (like me maybe...) question:
Which control should I use to trigger the weapon firing, including gun ?
I have tried unsuccessfully all possible controls within "Weapons" filter to assign to my controller (Saitek X55). All other assignments work well but I cannot make this one work.
Additional info, I am also running TacPack for my Metal2Mexh M2000C.
Thanks if someone can help me understand and solve...
