Re: Day and night cycle stopped
A few questions:
Are you using a home built PC or user upgraded PC?
After downloading P3D did you verify the Checksum?
What Add-ons do you have installed?
What are your system specs?

Have you tested without add-ons running ?: Active Sky, Ultimate Traffic Live, Rex Environment, and Chaseplane
How many monitors in your current setup?

Re: Day and night cycle stopped
Do you have REX Environment Force ? That program breaks the day/night cycle
The developer is aware of it and they are looking into it..

Re: Day and night cycle stopped
Thank you, I thought REX may have had something to do with it. I deleted P3D cfg, shaders and shaders backup and it solved the problem..
Re: Day and night cycle stopped
Hello
Same issue.
But where to find Shaders backup ?
I found P3d. cfg., shaders but not shaders backup.
Tks in advance

Re: Day and night cycle stopped
Same issue continue :
P3D v5.2.22.27615
W10 - GT1060 (all up to date)
After start, clock on the panel shows 00h00 and seconds are moving, means time is going on.
Trying to set new time doesn't change anything.
That did happen after a fresh install to other SSD.
Before that I did install P3D on previous install.
So finally I did delete P3D.cfg, shaders and launch "Delete Generated Files", restart PC without any results
impossible to find even get any solution

If your issue is not found, please create a new forum topic with a clear subject and detailed reproduction steps.
Reproduction steps should be a clear way for a developer to cause the error. It should be a step-by-step guide. Please make sure the steps are detailed as possible. Additionally, please note if it is reliably reproducible or if it is intermittent.
Finally, include the following information in your report:
Prepar3D version
Operating system
All add-ons installed (applications, scenery, vehicles, etc.)
Hardware (graphics card, CPU, RAM, displays, etc.)
Changes made to your system – overclocking, graphics accelerators (NVIDIA Inspector), debuggers
Changes to Prepar3D's settings or configuration files
Crash logs or error messages

Re: Day and night cycle stopped
I did a fresh install without any add-on.
P3D v5.2.22.27615
W10
GTX 1060
No error msges : system runs and sim too.
But SIM starts at midnight (clock is running) and even I set other time, time is changed but SIM remains in night with lights etc etc ...
So now I have to fly P3d v4, shame... I feel I'm back to FS98 .

You have have had a problem since your first post here:
https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopi ... 30#p245630
You are the only pilot reporting this problem with the current P3D product.

Re: Day and night cycle stopped
Tks for answer
To be "the only one" is OK for me ....
I still have this issue and it's new for me.
I never had issues after installing P3D since the beginning.
Current P3D version has worked till I had to uninstall and make fresh install (w/o any addon...)
That was a big surprise
Concerning the Post "black textures" : was my mistake to start using this title. Then I discovered the current Thread and Title which is precisely what I have.
The Sim remains in night time even clock is changed to day .....
So finally I did uninstall v5, revert flying with v4 and trying other Sim, because it is a shame to remain with such an issue.
