Sound Issue with P3D 4.4
Sound Issue with P3D 4.4
Hi Lockheed Martin,
Firstly, thanks for the new update, always an exciting time with new development,
I have an issue with aircraft sound, essentially when I change views the engines spool up, - well more accurately the sound of the spool up occurs the actual engine power doesn't change, only the sound does, I've tried both addon aircraft and also the default aircraft, they both suffer from this,
Anyone else experiencing this one, any ideas?.
Cheers.

Yes, it is by design I belief, have a look at the bug/fix list, some changes where made to sound system.
Also when you pause/resume or use Q to mute and un-mute the sound, certain sounds will reset/re-sync.

We'll investigate this and get back to you. Similar issues were fixed when toggling sounds on and off and pausing the sim. This may be related.

Just checking in, I'm having the same issue v4.4.
Let me know if you need any info (sys specs, drivers etc.) for investigating.

Same here but it's not too bothersome, can live with it.
Re: Sound Issue with P3D 4.4
Guys,
I have a clean install for 4.4. I am not hearing these sound issues at all.
Did you guys just do a client update?

I have this happen too, and I did a client install (only, for now).
Re: Sound Issue with P3D 4.4
I also did a clean install and I'm experiencing this bug. Looks like (some?) EZdok users aren't affected.

Confirmed on my end.
I had to fly the Cub and in the air pull the power down and change views. First I wasn't getting the noise issue but after few more changes. I was able to replicated what every one else is experiencing.

I am not sure if this related to what I am experiencing. Sound tends to hiccup on the sim causing a stutter. Thoughts?

I am having the same thing. I thought it might be engine failure. I fly the V-117 from Jan Visser Manfred Jahn. If not flown by the numbers, engine failure will surely follow. At least, now I know this is perhaps by deliberate P3D design. I can only blame myself for engine failure.

Hello Rob, all.
Having same issue.
Where would we look for the fix?
Keep up the good work, version 4.4 is as to performance a real jump ahead from 4.3. tks for that.
regards
Andreas
