So much potential.

Post by Darren Howie »

Been doing a fair bit if volumetric cfg tweaking and im amazed at how impressive CB's can be made to look in 5.3 using EA.
beautifully lit with white tops and not a volcanic eruption to be seen.
Very excited for 5.4 bacause if i can make these CB's i cant wait to see what LM and the As guys can do.
The lighting is very real and having spent twenty plus years in jets flying around and through them the feel is simply outstanding.
Also love the fibrous edges not just balls of noise that look terrible unless clumped together ala MSFS.
Great potential.

Hi Darren,

I am a Home Cockpit Owner and would like to test your volumetric cfg Tweaks, if you would share :-)

Currently I am using a RTX 4080 (cause my 3090 broke electrically).

I am because of the 4080 now able to use more Shadow and Lighting options, and also the slider of Volumentric Clouds more right.

The 4080 runs with nearly 3Ghz.

Regards
Jörg
