Why are there no default clouds in hotfix 1?

Post by jakef »

Just upgraded from P3Dv5.1 to P3dv5.2 hot fix 1. Upon loading the sim the are just clear skies even with fair weather selected. Updated by doing client, scenery, content separately 1 at a time.

I have no idea what you mean by "no default clouds", I have clouds in my 5.2 HF1, no add-on weather program installed.

When I start up the sim in the default flight, there are no clouds, even with it set to fair weather. Have tried running the delete generated files exe. and have tried manually deleting the volumetric clouds cfg. Still no clouds. EA, and HDR are off.

Odd. When I do the default flight (F-35A out of KRND) I see plenty of clouds on my system.
