ATC Vectors to Final (RESOLVED)

It's only been one flight since I updated P3D to 5.4, but last night I did my first flight and the default ATC worked as normal for clearance, departure, climb, cruise and descent.

At the trademark 100 nm mark, there were instructions to descend to various levels as I approached the airport.

However, there were never vectors for approach or vectors to final. I simply descended to the airport travelling the planned route and descended to approach altitude, but again....no vectors.

Wondering if anyone else has seen this, or if this was part of the update.

I updated the client and content only.

BTW,

I find the update is great - super smooth performance. No more startup crash that occurred with MSAA and Enhanced Atmospherics active.

Loading a pre-made flight plan is now instant, no long waits as waypoints and other airports load.

I just recently completed a full Uninstall of P3D Academic v5.3HF2 and a full install of P3D Academic 5.4.

Did a test flight.

Default ATC IFR flight ok.
Vectors OK.

Did you use any saved flight or did you test with a newly created flight?

Thanks guys, it was an older saved flight......and I bet you have diagnosed the problem.

Let me do a new one with a newly saved plan and report back.
