Tracker to AutoTarget

Postby OPS_Support » Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:08 am

Hello,

I am hoping to use the Tracker Sample solution as a way to bring in an trackable object into a scenario. I want the GunSystem to autotarget the object that the Tracker Sample creates and positions.

I want the Gun to automatically target the Tracker Sample object. Is there a way to hardcode the auto-target target ID rather than using the Weapons Gauge window?

Can you please advise the best way to achieve this?

Ideally I'd like to assign the Gun position an absolute position to aim at. Is there different method to achieve this? Possibly SetCrosshairTarget() ?

Would writing values to the Weapon SimVars (i.e. FCS TARGETED LATITUDE, FCS TARGETED LONGITUDE, FCS TARGETED ALTITUDE) be an acceptable method for manually giving the gun an absolute position for aiming?
