P3d Ver 5.2 on SSD?

Post by Grover#1 »

Has anyone had any luck installing P3d Ver 5.2 totally on an External SSD? I would be willing to purchase a really high speed external SSD if such an install is possible...Currently I am running the program on a standard HD...Thanks for your assistance and advice!

You can install P3D to any drive connected to your computer, so the answer to your question is Yes - in theory.

However, you will have an issue with the speed of your connection, not the SSD itself... so in practice I doubt if the end result will be worth the expenditure.

What kind of computer do you have, since you're contemplating this?
