Raffaele,
There is a known problem with the latest nVidia driver. If you roll back your driver one version, then it should run OK.

Re: Unable to run Prepar3D_v5_Academic_5.1.12.26829
Did you roll back the nVidia driver to the previous version?

Doing it now. Thanks, I hope this helps. It's ridiculous that this even happens in 2021.
Re: Unable to run Prepar3D_v5_Academic_5.1.12.26829
nVidia screwed this one up, they are looking into it.

Re: Unable to run Prepar3D_v5_Academic_5.1.12.26829
At first I thought it was me upgrading windows this morning to the dopey "Experience Pack: 120.2212.5510. OS Build 19042.906. Version 20H2.
I had driver 465.89 so I rolled it back to 461.92 and it still crashed.
Now I have 461.72 and the PMDG 777 is sitting on the end of the runway at YSSY.
But I KNEW I ran the sim with the drivers I mentioned about and it was fine. I'm still wondering if it's a Windows OS problem.

Re: Unable to run Prepar3D_v5_Academic_5.1.12.26829
No problem with the Windows update, as far as I know this was solely a nVidia driver problem.

Ok, I know that you are supost to roll your drive back one version, but how do you do that
Re: Unable to run Prepar3D_v5_Academic_5.1.12.26829
Search the web for this:
nvidia driver rollback
or something similar.
