Hi,

I have been reading lots and lots of pots in different forums but I can’t get a clear precise answer, a few days ago I sent an email to Prepar3D’s support but I get no reply either, then I would like to ask for your help.

Currently my simulator is as follows:
Simulator: Microsoft FSX
Display: 180 degrees semicircle screen
Matrox Box, Triplehead2Go digital
3 x Ben@ 1080p ST projectors
Wrapping S/W: NTHUSIM

This setup is giving me a beautiful 180 degrees FOV.

I would like to explorer P3DV5 simulator.

Is it possible to display P3DV5 in a semicircle screen, 180 degrees FOV?

If so, is any guideline, instructions, tutorial or anything I could follow to get it?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards.

@ skywalker:

Just so you know, you could do some actual testing with a 14 day refund policy:

Hi Skywalker,

can you tell me if you have tested prepar3d with your curved screen? I have setup a curved screen myself and I can not get a decent FOV on the screen yet with prepar3d. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here.

Hey Guys,

Did you figure out how to make this work? As I have the same, a TH2GO Digital, NTHUSIM 4.1.302, and 3 Mitsubishi Projectors. It all works great under FSX of course, but P3D v4.5 is what I'm trying to work with now. So, if you've figured it out please post....

Thank You,

John

What each of you is trying to do has been done hundreds of times with P3D v4 and v5.

Is there something that has changed that worries you? The only major change I would suggest you look into if you are moving over from FSX is the use of ViewGroups. Also know that it looks like NTHUSIM is hiring a new programmer to bring the product up to date to run with the latest sims. So stay tuned for that.
I don't use that software, I you FlyElise instead. And that product works great for all versions of P3D.
