Installation of Prepar3d
Installation of Prepar3d
Good morning, I know this question has been asked several times and I have tried all solutions and nothing has worked. I'm downloading prepar3d onto my e drive. When I select it in my installation section and click next, the whole download goes to my c drive. It doesn't make sense for almost like 60 gbs or something like that to be on my c drive and not on my e drive.

Did you really want P3D to install on it?
You download the e.g., 13GB zip to E
UnZIP on E
Run Setup
Were you given a default location to install P3D?
Shown here:
viewtopic.php?f=6322&t=120676
Did you e.g. modify the default path to e.g, E:\P3Dv4? or you could choose another drive, not E.
And then continue with the install?

Yes it is a external drive. Yes i do really want to install it on there. I did unzip on the E drive, run setup. The default location was on my c drive. And I did modify the path to E:\! Flight Sim Stuff\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 and then continued with install.Martyson wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 5:47 pmNote: your E drive is an external drive, correct?Kadus wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 5:22 pm Good morning, I know this question has been asked several times and I have tried all solutions and nothing has worked. First, just to be sure.
Have you started P3D to verify your install is ok.
The LM F22 default flight should load with the engines running.

Yes, the LM F22 Does load correctly and I had installed the QW787 to also confirm it worked also. Which it did.Martyson wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 5:58 pmOk,Kadus wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 5:56 pmYes it is a external drive. Yes i do really want to install it on there. So, it all looks normal, correct?
Now use Windows explorer to look at your C drive to see what you have (folders).
