Please could you consider overhauling the halo.bmp landing light effect?
it would be nice if the default beam actually illuminated the ground (as opposed applying a white out texture) without having to create a complex 3d model which "hacks" ground lighting from a light beam.
the beam should be capable to reflect off solid objects and clouds/fog
Please consider creating/improving the effect to simulate speed when passing through clouds. Default clouds hit an invisible wall and move to the side of the camera which destroys the immersion one senses when flying through cloud.
