I have a question for you:
How to run P3D 5 under Windows Server 2016 Datacenter Edition (64 Bit)?
V 4 works fine under the same VPS server
Thank you

Re: PREPAR3D 5 AND VIRTUAL MACHINE SERVER
The main difference is that the new engine uses DirectX12. You'll need to make sure you have DirectX12 drivers, and that your VM solution supports DirectX12.

Re: PREPAR3D 5 AND VIRTUAL MACHINE SERVER
Hi, I have done all the necessary research and it turns out that the virtual server supports dx12 and the drivers are installed. I noticed that during the run up of p3d the boot process stops after loading 102/105 Mb of data and the cpu stops processing data. The p3d.cfg file that P3D create contains only this data:Beau Hollis wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 4:48 am The main difference is that the new engine uses DirectX12.
