Hi!
I try to install the drivers for the PFC Cirrus 2 Flight Console - without success (Windows 7 64 bit does not even recognize it as input device). The Drivers provided by PFC are not for Windows 7. Does anybody use PFC Hardware in Connection with Prepar3D and Windows 7?
Thanks!
Precision Flight Controls (PFC) Hardware
Hi Markus
PFC.DLL This program is an FS2000/FS2002/FS2004/FSX driver and the 4.40 driver for FSX for the COM-port connected equipment produced by PFC (Precision Flight Controls Inc.) It handles the Throttle Quadrant Console, Cirrus II, Professional Flight Console, and the Jetliner, with options such as Pedals, Avionics Stack and the Remote Instrument Controller (RIC). May 5th 2013 (1.04 MB)
Have a look on this site: and look for PFC DLL 2.41

Yes, I got in touch with the support - still waiting for their reply. Nevertheless their download page does not provide specific drivers, but I suppose they provide Prepar3D Support (as P3D is listed on their partners page). Maybe it´s a prob with W7 64bit - let´s see.
@Jan: Thanks, I already spotted this, but did not test yet as it looks like it´s not for my config. But I´ll try this immediatly.
I´ll keep you posted about the support reply.
Thanks!

Hi Jan,
I´ve got an USB device. Pete obviously also develpped an USB driver. Both drivers fit well in the system, both are recognized by Prepar3D. Nevertheless I can´t configure the device. BTW: The console is NOT recogniced by windows hardwaremanager - the driver can´t be found (error 42), it´s an "Unknown device".
How can I fix this?
Thanks!

Hi Markus
give a try: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/hardw ... e_problems
You may want to download the PFC_Serial_Driver_FSX.exe from here

Thank you very much, Jan!
I tried those, but in my case, no success. Nevertheless your hint with Pete´s driver was very useful for me, too.
My solution was dead simple (as always when it looks complicated):
Use USB 3.0 NOT USB 2.0 Port and Windows identifies the device correctly.
I´ll post a short How-To Setup Cirrus II Console for Prepar3D on http://www.fsblog.de soon (in german unfortunately).
Thanks again!
