P3Dv4.5 issues with Saitek X52 and Honeycomb Bravo Throttle

Post by cirurgiao »

Hello.
Just received my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant.
Plugged via USB and it is there in P3Dv4
Deactivated Saitek X52 throttle and went to BT Configurator following SIMHANGER's video to configurate throttles (so far did a 1 & 2 engines props)
1) is there a known incompatibility between Saitek and Honeycomb products?
I tried to take-off with Money Bravo but although elevators move aircraft just keeps running in ground
2) is there an issue involving Bravo Throttle Quadrant Levers 1 & 2? Lever 1 works fine but if Lever 2 is moved either forward or backward Lever 1 go opposite.
Money Bravo: all 3 levers down; moving Lever 1 doesn't affect anything.
all 3 levers down: moving Lever 2 forward seems ok but moving backward makes Lever 1 goes opposite way and always this happens. A slight increase in Lever 2 brings Lever 1 to its down position but it doesn't stay there if Lever 2 is moved again
Tks

@ cirurgiao ,
Eduardo Passos ,

You mentioned:
“ Deactivated Saitek X52 throttle “
What does that mean?
How did you do it?

I have X52 also.
But, In my case it came as a set , X52 Throttle and an X52 Joystick.
I have never Mixed one component of an Saitek X52 set with another product’s component.

Note:
When making changes did you reboot your PC after any changes?
Then restart P3D.

Hello.
Sorry, didn't explain correctly.
Had Saitek X52 for Throttle (deactivated via P3Dv4 axis assignment) and Joystick (Flight Control System) axis for elevator, and ailerons (which I kept)
Had CH Throttle Quadrant for Prop & Mixtures axis (throttles were for reverse) => removed from my pc
Plugged Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant (assigning all axis via P3Dv4 axis assignment) and it is there.
Trouble => there are issues involving Levers.
In a twin prop Throttle 1 (Lever 1) makes Throttle 2 (Lever 2) move in opposite direction
In a 2 engines jet Spoilers (Lever 1) makes Throttle 2 (Lever 4) move in opposite direction
There is no other axis configuration (none with FSUIPC or other) except those linked with Bravo Throttle Quadrant.
I'm really a bit confused and frustrated because after a very long delay for getting my BT Quadrant I can't get it working as it should or at least like all those videos
Don't know if Saitek and Honeycomb could have conflicting signs.
AND
Should I have Honeycomb Alpha Throttle yoke instead of Saitek?
Tks

Is your Saitek X52 Joystick still connected (cable) to your Saitek X52 Throttle ?

@ cirurgiao ,
Eduardo Passos ,

Ok,

Then there is a conflict with X52 Throttle cabled (as originally intended) to the Saitek Joystick in your mixed hardware setup with Honeycomb Bravo Throttle.

You need to contact Saitek / Logitech and Honeycomb Bravo Throttle support.

Edit:
Do you currently have or have you ever had Saitek or Logitech Install and Setup software loaded on your PC?

Can't say and if I have/had how to verify that?

@ cirurgiao ,
Eduardo Passos ,

You need to contact Saitek / Logitech and Honeycomb Bravo Throttle support.
They will give needed direction on what to check if your custom hardware setup is possible.
