Best video Card

Post by sgoen »

I have an nvidia rtx 2070 video card. I have formatted all my drives on the computer including windows. I have done a fresh install of windows and installed all the updates for windows 10. I am getting ready to install p3d v5. Go I need anew video card or will my card work along with the drivers that windows 10 installs?

It will work with the drivers that you install from nVidia.

But currently there is an issue with the latest nVidia driver 465.89 - you need the version just before that one.

I have searched all over the web an can not find the number. Does anyone have that driver number. I am also hoping windows did not install 465.89 , there is no way to roll the driver back.

First, download Nvidia Driver 461.92 from their site
Second, uninstall any currently installed driver with DDU (freeware, Display Driver Uninstall), reboot
Third, install the 461.92 driver and reboot.

All should be well. Hope this helps.
