GTX 1070ti running with 4K TV

Postby flesland » Mon Apr 27, 2020 4:34 pm

Hey friends of P3D forum, I have a big question, I´m trying to understand a little bit more about resolution of 4K (3840x2160) due to I want to change my old Sony FHD TV, but my big question is: Do my GPU ASUS GTX 1070ti will be able to running 4K ? or maybe my GPU won´t be able to running but anyway my new TV 4K is going to help to see more clear images despite my GPU is renderinzing 1980x1080???, please help I'm a little confuse here!.

Thanks in advance!

I have a 1050 TI and i run my p3d v4.x in 4k with a 4k monitor, and i see no problems so far, but some will say that i should get a better GPU, maybe they are right, but as far as i know, it works now just the way i want it.

My advice, try it, if it dont work, it dont work, as simple as that.

See my post in screenshot forum. Rightclick on my picture, see the details in there, true 4k image and i have a 4k monitor as well, so, i am running p3d v4.5 in 4k, with okay settings, works just fine, no hickups as they say, but if its worth a new 4k monitor just to play p3d in 4k, well, thats a another story, up to you sir!
