A hint regarding prepar3d.cfg :
- If I change some parameter, I put a comment line (starting with two slashes // in column 1) at the beginning of this file with a description why I changed the parameter including web links.
- If I change a parameter, at first I copy the prepar3d.cfg to prepar3d.cfg.<yymmdd> , so I can easily revert to the former definitions. I can also compare the files for example after a client update.
- If I let P3D rebuild its configuration file (and sometimes this is the way to go to get better framerates), I can easily identify and redo my changes and check if they're still appropriate.
LOW fps in cruise..mediocre settings..
