Scenery display in grayscale-aircraft in color

Have you got any idea what causes scenery suddenly to be displayed in grayscale whilst aircraft are in color?
Had this once before and the fix was to reset the global graphic setting to default. Now that does not work. Fresh install with hotfix and all add on removed
