Re: Error msg and then immediate CTD of P3D
Yes, I uninstalled all six of those folders before reinstalling. Also, my documents folder is in the standard location. NVIDIA just sent me a new driver and instructed me how to remove the old one, and install the new one. I did that, and the problem persists. P3D is the only application having an issue. Here are the Event files from trying to open P3D after installing the new drivers.

Re: Error msg and then immediate CTD of P3D
I just discovered something interesting. I have two NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super video cards, in SLI configuration. When I disable SLI, then P3D opens fine. What could this mean?
Re: Error msg and then immediate CTD of P3D
Hi
Perhaps it is the SLI configuration in cause, as you sayed.
Have a look here (see Beau Hollis answers):

@ Greg Goodavish ,
In your first post you mentioned:
“dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super graphics cards, with SLi”
In my first reply in this topic I mentioned:
I do not have dual video cards / SLI
However, you had been using that configuration for a long time since Jan 2020 without problems until your post on 5-7-2021, correct?
You mentioned:
“NVIDIA just sent me a new driver and instructed me how to remove the old one”
Are you working directly with Nvidia Support on this problem now?
Note:
You mentioned:
“Yes, I uninstalled all six of those folders before reinstalling”
When I asked if you Uninstalled your Add-ons before your last full install of P3D I did not mean by using the P3D’s Delete Generated Files
I meant using the Add-on developer’s Uninstall / WIN10 Uninstall to uninstall and remove them from your hard drive / PC system.
Other pilots do use SLI with P3D and are are not (currently) reporting problems in this forum.

Yes, I have dual graphics cards with SLI. I uninstalled all my add-ons with their Uninstaller feature or through the windows program Uninstaller feature before Uninstalling P3D and reinstalling it. NVIDIA only sent me a new driver, which did not work. Does P3D support SLI?

Which driver did they send you?
How many monitors or other displays / tablets in your setup?

Re: Error msg and then immediate CTD of P3D
Yes, been using it fine since Jan 2020, and it just stopped working a few days ago.
Nvidia is trying to help me as well. They sent driver 462.31, and an Uninstaller for the previous driver. It didn't work.
I only have one computer and one monitor.
I assume Prepar3DV4.5 supports SLI. Am I correct?

You are using an old P3D product / version 4.5.14.34698.
As far as I know there are no updates scheduled for the older products.
As for SLI :
As far as I know LM P3D is SLI aware but does not use it.
As far as I know if you have a two monitor setup SLI should be disabled.

Re: Error msg and then immediate CTD of P3D
I guess I will disable SLI and try to use just one of my cards. Hopefully the NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super will be able to handle it, with all my addons. Not sure what you mean when you say P3D is SLI "aware". Also don;t understand why it worked for so long, and suddenly it doesn't.

You could Uninstall all your Add-ons.
Fully Uninstall P3D and all its folders.
Download a fresh copy of P3D from your account.
Install P3D and leave it in a default state for testing with your SLI cards both active:

Still haven't gotten an answer as to whether Prepar3D V4.5 allows usage of SLI setup.

Re: Error msg and then immediate CTD of P3D
both NVIDIA and Dell Support is saying that the application is causing the issue. Guess I will just work with one graphics card and shut off SLI. Seems to work.
