Views going dark

I have a homebuilt cockpit based on the Prosim737. I was running P3dV5 on the main computer and P3Dv4 on a second computer for the left and right views. I purchased a second copy of P3Dv5 hoping it would run a little more smoothly and the graphics would be closer to the same. I was also hoping to get widetraffic to work since it would crash on P3Dv4. However, as soon as I takeoff, the screens on the second computer go black and stay that way until I land. As soon as I touch down the views come back. Also, if I'm in the air and I shut down P3Dv5 on the main computer the views come back. This wasn't happening with P3Dv4. I' seriously considering going back to P3Dv4 on both computers. I'm having so many issues with P3Dv5, no landing lights, doors don't open with cdu, sometimes framerates plummet for no apparent reason and it just seems to be less stable.
