Allow me a quote:

"FSX also is running in Compatibility mode with W10"

I had FSX installed under Win 10 until quite recently. I had no need to run that in any compatibility mode.

W95
W98 /ME
XP (and pack 2 pack 3)
Vista (and pack 1 pack 2)
W7
W8
Great! then fs9 and FSX should work with W11.
It is very interesting the upgrade to W11, cool!
Still even though I wait for a while before starting with Windows upgrade.

Did you notice any differences with P3Dv4 and/or P3Dv5 after upgraded W10 to W11?

I can see no reason why FS9 and FSX should not work OK under Win 11.

I even have the old CFS2 running under Win 10, no compatibility mode required for that either.

Believe it or not I just checked right now the fs9 and FSX properties to see the Compatibility mode and from some reason both sim are running without selected anything from Compatibility. I remember long time ago I left those old sim with compatibility mode as Windows XP. That's rare and a good thing.
So, Windows is very smart. Maybe fs9 and FSX are smarter than Windows (lol).

I have FSX, FSX-SE, P3Dv4, P3Dv5, ...
All work fine with W11.
No need compatibility for them.
Seems it is more quickly.

@ mpni ,

Thanks for confirming.

I may reinstall my FSX Deluxe Edition from CD or just purchase the FSX-SE version.
I have a lot of purchased FSX Add-ons that I would like to use again.

Edit:
But 1st I better check if Flight One and other developers are still supporting FSX ?
