Dear:
Sound becomes very low when ATC window is open. After closing the ATC window, it takes a while for the sound return to normal level.
I use Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics unit. I rolled back to an older version of the graphics driver to keep p3d v5.1 running.
Please help.
Haseen Ahmad.
P3D v5.1: Sound very low with ATC window.

Probably due to KB4601319.

Due to the change in Windows specifications by MS to enhance remote work, ATC's multiplayer function may be regarded as communication.
There is a Communications tab in the Windows Sound Properties. It may be solved by setting this to "do nothing".

In my case, I switch the settings and it succeeds or does not succeed. I tried unchecking the exclusive mode on the details tab in the properties of the playback device, and it returned to normal. It's ambiguous.

After searching, I found that there was a problem with the Realtek driver.
I tried switching to the standard Windows driver, but it didn't work.
After Windows startup, resetting "do nothing" in the Sound Settings Communication tab before launching Prepar3D seems to eliminate the problem. It is troublesome.
