Missing/wrong layered runway textures

I've had this problem as long as I could remember but In my latest desperation to fix it, I reinstalled prepar3d v5 with no addons except for a few individual airports and ai-traffic. Still I see the runway markings are not correct at default airports. Along with the uninstall (and subsequent reinstall) I did the follow to the folders below.

C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 (or the modified install location) I deleted

• %PROGRAMDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 I deleted

• %LOCALAPPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 I deleted

• %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 I deleted

• %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Files I did not delete

• %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons I did not delete



I have tried everything and I'm out of ideas. Any help?

Did you verify the Checksum of the fresh download of P3D ZIP from your account?

I had the same issue that you have been experiencing which has also been driving me mad. Caused by Aerosoft LIRF Rome.

After a long winded process of uninstalling P3D and all addons and reloading the sim and all addons all back to the sim one by one (a process that has taken about a week) I found that Aerosoft Rome LIRF (texture folder) is the fault. This was also a common Addon that we both had (seen your other post on ORBX forum with the scenery list). If you disable Rome you should find it's corrected. I dont think Rome is one of the airports that have been updated for v5 yet if ever.
