Texture resolution changing

Every time i go back into my graphics options the texture resolution changes downwards, somtimes to low! from 4k

Is this some sort of auto setting, i have tried changing the fps to limit 20fps to unlimited makes no difference.

i have manually changed the config file makes no difference, something is changing my config settings!!

Are you using a third party aircraft as you default starting plane? There are known issues with certain third party aircraft that can cause this, refer here for more information: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic ... a&start=15
