Update Question

Post by flynby »

A good friend of mine were talking about P3D. I purchased 3D v3 on 4\17\2017. He said I need to buy 3D v5. But I see nothing about version 5. I do have Prepar3D_v3_Academic_3.4.22.19868 installed in Program (x86).

So, is there a version 5? Should it be in Program Files or does it make any difference? He also stated I would have to purchase the newest version and then request a refund because my 60 days return is not up yet. I am a bit confused.
Thank you for clearing this up for me.

The latest version is P3Dv4 released on 2017-05-30. There is no v5. LM have a 60 day refund policy so you should be able to get that and then purchase v4.

if i was you i would stick with the latest version of 3 . .V4 is a step forward, but also 3 steps back, with default aircraft having issues and bugs, only one new aircraft which again is a fighter jet zzzzzz many 3rd party addons are not compatible. etc etc

I went from a fully working with tonnes of add ons v3 to a v4 where hardly anything works. . Im very tempted to unistall V4 and go backlt o v3 for a few months ..

V4 isnt all that.. . . . . yet
