Nav and Stobe lights have black boxes on all aircraft, have updated video driver

Michel is correct! I can confirm the latest Nvidia driver 516.40 was the cause of my artifacts around the flashing lights in P3Dv5.3 HF2
I've reverted back to 512.59 and everything is fine now. No reason I chose this particular driver to rollback to, I just wanted to go back a couple of months. Thanks to all those who help us on the forum.

BUT WARNING THE NEWER "516.59 WHQL" arrived with Open Issues: [Prepar3D] Light sources display flashing black boxes. too !!!

!!!! So DON´T Ubdate to 516.59 its still not fixxed too !!!!

This issue has been reported in several other threads in other parts of this forum.

The issue is on nVidia's bug list.

There is absolutely no need to over-dramatizise this.

The strange thing is that the "Black Boxes" only appears on my AI-Aircrafts like the ones from the Alfa India Group.
And of course all the external lights like PAPI and building lights....

On my own aircraft the PMDG 738 SSW they are OK.....?

Just have to wait for a new NVIDIA driver update higher than 516.59

Happy to know that's not an scenery or other issue....;-)

Thank you indeed Wuffi and all of you guys for clearing out this issue. I'm back now on 512.77 and all works perfect again - INCLUDING all of FlyTampa's airports for P3Dv5 which were completely screwed up with flashing black boxes all over the place, hiding terminals and everything!

Let's keep on updating here on future nVidia updates to check out when the "Black box issue" days will be over!

Newest Nvidia driver 516.94 Game ready has solved this problem. Just released in the last day or two.
