P3D v5 crash at startup

Post by FlyingSystem »

Hello,

I purchased in the few past days P3D v5, but when it's starting in the scenario menu, the scenario menu freezes over 5-10 seconds then leaves.
If I try with P3D v4.5 everything looks good. I updated everything on my computer (Windows, NVIDIA Drivers...), I deleted generated files, I reinstalled so many times P3D v5, I reinstalled Windows to see if the error come from Windows, and appearly, according to the Command Prompt, there is no files damaged. I tried everything with these examples and more but nothing change. And no forum's topic talks about this problem.
I would be very happy if I can find P3D v5 with any solution if it's possible.

Regards.

@ FlyingSystem ,

You could also go to Nvidia site (drivers), fill in the search information for your setup , select search downloads and then select/download the Nvidia driver 461.92 and install it.

Nvidia drivers (current and older) search/look up is here:

I can confirm the same issue with v5.1 after I updated but I will not roll back as 466.11 fixed an important issue with another program for me and my RTX3080.
So Prepar3d will remain dormant for me unfortunately until another patch from the green machine.

The "green machine" in this case is called nVidia.
