v5.2 - collision with another aircraft not off.

Post by TextRich »

Greetings. I am a new P3D user, using v5.2. Under the Realism-->Crashes and damage setting, if I select "Detect crashes and damage" and check "Allow collisions with other vehicles" if an AI aircraft accidentally taxis into my aircraft, the sim considers it a CRASH (reason: "Object Collision"). Shouldn't the "Allow collisions" setting render our aircrafts harmless from bumping into each other? For now I am using "Ignore crashes and damage" but it would be nice to be able to select "Detect crashes", select "Allow collisions", and only CRASH if it was my fault (failed landing) and not if it was not my fault (the AI taxiing into my aircraft). Thank you.
Sim: CH Yoke/Throttle/Pedals, Airbus stick, Cessna trim wheel, TrackIR 5, 3 Saitek panels, ButtKicker

System: Intel i5-10600K CPU @ 4.10 GHz, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 64GB DDR4 RAM 4200 MHz, ASRock Z490M Pro4, 2TB Intel NVMe SSD 660p, 3 monitors
