P3D crashes on A/C - location select screen

I have been flying P3DV5 ever since its introduction with absolutely no problems. About five days ago it crashed while flying. I tried to restart and I got a CTD after about 10 seconds while on the A/C-location select screen. Just FYI there is no aircraft displayed on the A/c select screen. I have done all of the debugging steps and have installed P3DV5 5.1.12.26829 at least four times with no success. I have also tried all of the suggestions contained in the forum. I have reverted the GPU driver to 465.72 and have run delete generated files. I have reached the end of my knowledge.

Update I reverted to nvidia 466.11 and all works now, I hate computers......
