This is somewhat odd.

Are you familiar with the Windows Services under Device Manager?

Seems to have no crash with EA ON if:
Godrays, Volumetric Fog, Windshield effects and turbulence and thermal effects are desabled.
Perhaps one on these items is the cause.
I have to confirm and make more tests.
Regards and thank you for helping me.

@ mpni ,

@mpni,

Under the Services, at the very bottom of the list, there should be a total of four dealing with Xbox.

If you do not have Xbox and do not contemplate getting one, then you can disable all 4 of those services and see if that helps.

@mpni ,

Just for follow up.

I do have Xbox services and no problems with V5 HV1

Go to Windows Programs and Features and do a screenshot of your installed P3D components

Always the same issues with Godrays, Volumetric Fog, Windshield effects and turbulence and thermal effects desabled.

My P3Dv5HF1 Components (and V4.5 HF3)

And XBox services (only one not active)

Another test
With EA desabled all works fine. That is a very good point.
With EA enabled, no crash if the aircraft does not move.
But at take off P3Dv5.1Hf1 crashes.

I have EA disabled myself because of a chronic lack of VRAM.....

Yes Jorgen
But perhaps, I finded the solution to my problem.
During all my tests, in each part of the world, with each aircraft I can take, the same observation:
- If the aircraft doesn't move, P3Dv5.1HF1 doesn't crash.
- When the aircraft is on the take off, or just after, P3D crashes.
So, what effect can affect the aircraft?
I had a look at water detail/Reflexions and I have desabled User vehicule.
I have reduce water Detail on Medium as well as special effects detail and distance on medium.
At this time, no more CTD with EA enabled and I fly as never I was abbled flying with EA enabled and I hope is that the solution.

I have the same issue with P3D v5.2 HF1. It crashes on every flight with EA on, regardless if AS is connected or not. No issue with EA off so far.

Not crashing after 2 min necessarily but it crashes after 10min, 1 hr, 1.5hrs… without a pattern

Anyone else with this experience?

My System is:

W10 latest, i9-11900k, RTX2080, RAM 32GB, Asus ROG Strix Z590-E

Are there any error messages in Windows Event Viewer?

No, no faulty module message in the event viewer, just a warning that the system restarted.

It always crashes to a restart of the system.

To try to isolate what is causing the CTD
Look in the Windows Event Viewer and get the
Faulting Module Name
