Very low FPS - P3Dv5 unusable..

I’m getting low FPS too. I was getting 30- 40 at cyyz when I had v5.2 and than I restarted my computer now it’s between 8-12 . Why did it drop ? I didn’t do nothing .

If you reboot PC.
Start P3D and let the default flight load F-35A at KRND.
Is it OK.

I occasionally get this and the action "Start P3D and let the default flight load F-35A at KRND" works for me as stated.

Is this recommended each time P3D is loaded or only when the symptom is seen?

Yes - P3Dv5.2HF1.

When I start P3D the option on the screen is to start on KRND with Lockheed Martin F-35A.
I then set the location and aircraft I want before activation the sim.

I use FSLabs, Quality Wings and PMDG commercial jets and do not use the supplied Lockheed Martin aircraft. The 3rd party aircrafts are at the latest version.

RESOLVED

Hello all, I'm very pleased to advise that the issue has now been resolved. After a flash of inspiration (and re-reading the FAQs!) I have discovered the issue was caused by my Speedlink Black Widow joystick. I unplugged it and the frames have returned !!! :)

I have now re-installed the drivers for the joystick and plugged it back it and everything seems to be working fine once again. Will now spend the next few hours putting back all the Orbx and add ons !

Many thanks for the recommended settings for NVIDIA and for the sim which I will continue to use.

You saved me from many headaches. I have been trying a lot of complex solutions. In the end all I needed to do was unplug and replug my Honeycomb yoke.
