P3DV5HF2 BSOD DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Post by boswell254 »

I am so impressed with V5. However, for some reason I have had two random BSOD events with the above fault. Two days ago I flew with A2A Comanche (default GPS) in US with all ORBX Global and all regions active with many ORBX airports without a problem. No weather programmes loaded with enhanced atmospherics ON.

Today I flew for two hours in the UK with all ORBX regions loaded (not true earth)plus all ORBX UK airports and UK2000 airports. After two hours in the A2A Comanche with what had been a perfect flight approx 60miles SW of EGPF, I had the above BSOD. It was close to EGPK for which I have the UK 2000 version loaded though have previously flown near to here without issue. I realise that I have high load with the below spec and my question is, if the BSOD is due to load, what should I reduce first to test?

Any advice would be appreciated
Regards
Adrian

Hi, I am having the same issue. Whenever I am in Prepar3D (V5.2HF1) I get BSODs with the IRQL error or Kernel errors. It only happens with P3D, any other game and flightsim runs fine. I've 2 brand-new RAM sticks, memory tests show no errors.I'm clueless and desperate on what to do.

Did you by any chance manage to fix the issue?

Sincerely

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and I had BSOD with p3d until I realize that I had activated in the bios of my PC an overclock option, may be if you have overclock this is the cause of the BSOD with p3d.
