White-window floating in VR in 4.3

Hello, I am experiencing a white-window floating on the screen in native VR on 4.3. This happens in Stereo and Single-pass modes.

I am using the Rift and VR in Oculus mode.

So far this happened on the PMDG 737 and 777, but not always. It happens usually 50% of the times when I launch VR.

Any ideas what that is?

No, I don`t. I just load the plane and the window is there.

I have just confirmed: this is ONLY reproducible with the PMDG planes (777/747 and 737). Whenever I load another aircraft, the window is gone. I open a PMDG aircraft, the white window is back. This happens always.

Parhaps PMDG is using some sort of hidden window that is then identified by this new VR feature and presented with a white backgroud?

It makes all the PMDG aircraft not really useable.

I have exactly the same thing
I have an undocked FMC that work well, maybe it is a light sensor ? (PMDG was using a little white screen on the left upper side) ?
I use alo FSforse with a gauge and with the new windows feature It always appears in front of me ! can we save it position each time ?

They confime the issue in the PMDG FORUM: light sensor , they look at the Problem

Same here. It happens to me in FS Labs 320 too.

Yes, can also confirm that this is happening with the FSL.

Should we expect a fix from the developers or from LM here?

Those are one of the most well-simulated aircraft in P3D currently.

Hi all,
the same here, I have set 2D panel transperancy to 100% to get rid of it.
Another thing is that the ATC window or GSX window is not present in VR anymore, on the monitor. When switching to normal mode its there. Hard to use GSX in VR without the text menu.

the cause of this problem seems to be how 2d gauge displayed over the vc is rendered while in vr mode.

for the fsl model, there is a tiny gauge that's displayed at the upper left corner of the screen. when this gauge is undocked or commented out in panel.cfg, the white windows in vr doesn't show up.

for example, the fsl gauge in panel.cfg contains the gauge 'color sensor panel' and if gauge00 is commented out, the white box does not show up in vr.

for the pmdg 777 and 744, commenting out the respective window entry for light sensor in panel.cfg gets rid of the white box. at least that's my work around for now.

don't know what this light sensor gauge does, so either the addon devs or lm need to fix this...

comment out by adding "//" in front of the gauge00 entry.

Setting transparency panel to 100 % did the trick
For GSX go the other thread for the solution (P3DV4.3 VR ATC !! post)
