I have been battling the same issue. I completely uninstalled Prepar3dv4 and all add-ons (PMDG T7,737,747, ASV4 and FSIUPC) everything appeared to work fine until I installed ASV4. The only other thing I can think of that happened each time was I was coming out of a flight from a sim rate of 8 to normal but I don't think this has been in all circumstances.

Same occurrence here on my last flight. 14hrs. Was using Opus for my weather program. PMDG 747. No error log, just shut down after moving the view around. Strange.

I have been unable to complete PMDG 737 flights longer than about 1.5 hours sim time. Same problem - pauses then CTD with either KERNELBASE, API or no error messages (using appcrash). No specific actions prior to CTD.

I ended up doing a complete reinstall of P3D and all of my add-ons, doing my test-flight a couple of times between each add-on to figure out which one might be causing the crash. In the end, no more crashes occurred. So I've got everything installed, A2A C182, a bunch of OrbX sceneries, ChasePlane, ASP4, ASCA etc, and crashes no longer occurs. Not sure what may have caused this or what may have fixed it, but I can no longer reliably produce the problem anyway it seems.

I'll report back if I encounter it again.

I'm having CTD's the last few days as well. It started during a rotation from Amsterdam to Paris and back (less than an hour flying) with the PMDG 737. No problems until just after top of descend. I manipulated a switch and I had a BSOD. Problem doesn't reoccur on every flight and after I installed a previous NVIDIA driver I'm now getting CTD's instead of BSOD's. Still on the way back, just after beginning the descend. Event view doesn't always show an error. Sometimes got an api.dll error.

Feels like unstable behaviour because of GPU drivers, but I'm not sure which one to try instead.

Hi again!

After installing a second GPU and excluding all P3D folders from Windows Defender, I have had no more issues. I don't know if was a GPU driver update (I'm using two Radeon R9 280x in crossfire mode) or Windows Defender.

My specs are: Core I5 6600K 3.5 GHz (no O.C.), 16 Mb 2133, Windows 10, R9 280x Crossfired, PMDG 737 NG (with expansion), PMDG 777 (with expansion), PMDG 747 v3, ASP4 and UTLive.
