[RESOLVED] Calculate Route not implemented on P3D v4

Hello,
the option to calculate route is not available in flight planner menu, on latest version v4; only manual selection of waypoints on map; just wondering if this feature is missing or was intentionally removed due to some kind of incompatibilities.

Hello,

We simply reorganized how that UI looks. The "Find Route" button used to open the map in a new window, but now the map is in the main dialog. All functionality should still exist in the same capacity, just all in one window now.

Hi, I tried going through all the map settings but I still can't get a route, I open the flight planner choosing departure and arrival airport but after selecting IFR and high altitude airways I still have a direct route

Hello,

Apologies, we will have this fixed in our next release. The Direct GPS option should still function as intended. Waypoints can also be created by editing the route visual.

This is sufficiently frustrating that I think LM should issue an immediate hotfix.

It is clear that LM was unaware, and had to have it pointed out to them.

To manually create a route by moving the line to a waypoint or intersection is hard enough, but to have to use an external flightpanner then physically shift the line around is very hard and over a long flight distance hard to do.

So let's get it cleaned up right away

I have the same problem as the OP.

I am using P3D version 4.0.23.21468 and I just noticed the route will only auto-calculate when I select Direct GPS. The other 3 options do nothing. Have I missed an update or am I doing something else wrong?

Your P3D Account has the current P3D version.
